The innovative Re-Source recycled textile collection from Swiss textile manufacturer Schoeller Textil AG combines textile performance and sustainability in perfect symbiosis.

Whether for travel, everyday work, or demanding mountain tours – the sustainable textile innovations of Schoeller’s Re-Source collection guarantee maximum comfort, durability and weather protection in any environment.

By recycling previously used materials,  Re-Source creates added environmental and social value in a holistic approach – for wearers, apparel brands and the planet.

“Our mission with  Re-Source is to make nature tangible,” says Antonio Gatti Balsarri, chief commercial officer at Schoeller.

“The recycled textile collection is part of Schoeller’s comprehensive sustainability strategy, which aims to create a better future for people and the planet.”

Transparent blockchain production process and recycled materials

Re-Source gives valuable bio-based, post- and pre-consumer materials, such as recycled polyester and spandex, new life in the form of high-performance textiles and ensures a resource-saving and sustainable production system.

Two textile innovations in the collection are lined with natural Nativa Merino wool on the interior, produced under the highest sustainability standards. The entire manufacturing process of Nativa Merino wool is 100 percent transparent and traceable using blockchain technology. Nativa farms worldwide meet strict social and environmental requirements for animal welfare (mulesing-free), land management and ethical labor guidelines.

Sustainability meets multifunctionality

Thanks to specially-developed Schoeller textile technologies,  Re-Source textiles offer breathability, thermal regulation, as well as wind and water repellency in a wide range of application situations.

The resistant and durable Q-cycle polyamide is obtained by pyrolysis of used tires, thus saving CO2 emissions compared to the incineration process. All  Re-Source textile innovations are Bluesign Approved – the international standard for responsible and sustainable textile manufacturing.

“Every element within each new material in the  Re-Source collection has been carefully and thoughtfully researched and developed with nature in mind — this is one way we as a textile brand can do our part for a more sustainable future,” says Hans Kohn, COO, Schoeller Technologies AG.
