Why Are You Going to Performance Days?

The Performance Forum is the core of the Performance Days fair, where all materials are 100 % preferred sustainable fibers. We ask attendees why they’re going to this year’s show.

Hongliang ding, president of hemp fortex industries

At Performance Days, sustainability has taken the center stage alongside product functionality and performance – what’s your take on this as an exhibitor?

For us this is great – we’ve always been solely a sustainable textile company. Sometimes we have felt like the only one, so we love the support and enthusiasm of Performance Days. For our part, we are eager to explore the functional and performance aspects of hemp, much of which we find through the Performance Day team. It is very exciting!

At the fair, there will be a number of expert talks that deal with sustainability.
What do you look forward to in particular?

The whole thing about Performance Days is the conversations, often prompted by expert talks. The questions from the audience, prompted by the presentations are when the session becomes interactive & really takes off. The depth of knowledge of the presenters is far greater than what they have in their slide deck & the opportunity to hear their views is priceless…

Marco Weichert, GENERAL MANAGER OF PERFORMANCE DAYS

For those looking for the latest trends in sustainability, what are the perks of attending Performance Days?

We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously and want the trade fair to reflect that. This is why we made the decision to only show sustainable materials in the Performance Forum, where we look forward to guiding fabric manufacturers in the right direction and inspiring yet more innovation. And the best, entrance is for free for trade fair visitors.
