What does responsible business look like in practice? Industry leaders and experts meet at the Outdoor Impact Summit 2026 to compare approaches and build the collaborations that drive real change.

After the success of the first edition held in Munich in May 2025, the Outdoor Impact Summit comes back on May 14–15 2026, co-organized by MagNet. The event is an international meeting point focused on sustainability, responsible innovation, and social impact, specifically targeted on the outdoor industry yet offering valuable insights and outlooks for any sector committed to responsible transformation.

Over the course of two days, companies, experts, and organizations will have the opportunity to share experiences and strategies on key topics such as circularity, biodiversity, environmental policies, and regenerative business models. All of it set against the backdrop of Riva del Garda – one of Europe’s premier outdoor destinations, where the Dolomites’ limestone meets Lake Garda’s crystal clear waters.

A program built for responsible action

With a program that combines strategic vision and real-world application, the Outdoor Impact Summit 2026 aims to be a reference point for those who want to understand and concretely lead the responsible transition in the sport industry.

The program includes a diverse array of workshops, masterclasses, and roundtables designed to foster both confrontation and the co-creation of tangible solutions. There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking and for establishing international collaborations aimed at building a fairer and more responsible industry.

The first day begins with an experiential “Walk and Talk” format, taking participants outside under the open sky for similarly open discussions on responsibility and communication. Returning to the venue, panel discussions and sessions will follow, examining how the outdoor industry defines and measures impact – across corporate strategy, innovation, and supply chain responsibility. Case studies and project showcases will cover a range of themes, from environmental protection to the transformation of sporting events and public-private partnerships for the management of territories and trails.

A keynote by Sylvie Goulard – professor of practice at SDA Bocconi and co-chair of the International Advisory Panel on Biodiversity Credits – will bring economist Partha Dasgupta’s framework into focus: the biosphere as natural capital to be preserved rather than an inexhaustible resource. The session will address how companies can reduce environmental dependencies, minimize negative impacts, and manage risks – themes of particular relevance to an industry directly tied to the health of natural ecosystems.

Inclusive leadership, circularity, and the 2030 Agenda

The second day opens with Enrico Giovannini, scientific director of ASviS, offering a systemic reading of the 2030 Agenda and the global challenges it presents. A panel on inclusive leadership will follow, featuring Nat Jackson of The Outward Bound Trust, alongside representatives from Patagonia and Global Game Shapers. Later on, Arianna Colombari of Tecnica Group will deliver the keynote “The Culture of Respect,” addressing the role of companies in building fair work environments and the need to identify and overcome biases in organizational decision-making.

The agenda also covers circularity as a business tool, looking at what this means in practice for brands and retailers – from product end-of-life and extended producer responsibility to the rules and regulations shaping both. Digital traceability and supply chain responsibility will also be on the agenda, along with a closer look at how circular transitions affect people and communities.

Together, the program covers the key practical and regulatory questions shaping the industry’s responsible transition today.

Networking in one of Europe’s great outdoor destinations

But the summit is as much about the conversations that happen between sessions as those that happen within them. Set against the backdrop of Riva del Garda – one of Europe’s premier outdoor destinations – the event is designed to foster the kind of informal exchange that formal programs rarely allow. On the evening of May 14, attendees are invited to dinner at Spiaggia Olivi – where the day’s themes can be explored more freely, and new collaborations can take shape over a shared meal.

The Outdoor Impact Summit is not just an event for outdoor professionals – it is an open laboratory where innovation, business, and environmental responsibility come together to generate real and lasting impact.
